About Jessica
A decade of doing this, now open as a practice.
For about ten years I have been the person people call. Friends, friends of friends, people from work, people who got my number from someone else. Not because I advertised it. Because it kept happening, and because it kept helping.
At some point it stopped being an accident. I started noticing what worked, writing down the things that came up again and again, and building actual practices out of them. That is the part that took a decade. The website is new. The work is not.
Where the training comes from
I studied psychology. I did forty eight weeks of field training working directly with autistic children, and a field-work case study where I gathered and analysed real behavioural data on how behaviour and environment connect. I have worked at a rehabilitation centre with adults in addiction, which is a very different kind of room and taught me a very different set of things.
That background matters for one specific reason, and it is not the credential. It is that I learned to watch for patterns properly, in a setting where you had to write down what actually happened rather than what you assumed happened. The practices I use came out of that. One of them is literally a behavioural technique turned inward.
What I am not
I am not a licensed mental health professional. I do not diagnose, I do not treat mental illness, and coaching is not health care. I am careful about this because the line matters and because the people who blur it tend to hurt somebody eventually. Here is the full boundary, in plain language.
How I work with people
Mostly I listen, and I ask the question that is actually underneath the one you asked. People have a tendency, once they get talking, to arrive somewhere on their own. My job is to make that possible and then to stay out of the way of it.
I am not going to tell you what to do with your marriage, your money, your parents or your career. I do not know. You do, more than you think. What I can do is help you find it, name it, and see the pattern it sits inside.
I do not have to know the answers to help you find them, because they are already in you.Jessica

Not sure if this is for you?
The first call is free, it runs about 15 to 20 minutes, and its only job is to work out whether I am the right person. If I am not, I will say so and point you somewhere better.
